Action Camera Microphone Compatibility Planner
A microphone can connect and still miss a feature you need. Build a route for your camera, check what equipment it needs, and verify the recording before your next shoot.

Does “not established” mean my devices are incompatible?
No. It means this evidence set does not confirm that exact model and connection. Choose an available documented route or check the manufacturer’s model-specific guidance.
Can two transmitters connect directly to Osmo Action 4?
The documented Mic 2 direct route supports one transmitter. For two Mic 2 transmitters, DJI describes using the Mic 2 receiver through the camera’s USB-C port.
Can I connect DJI Mic 2 directly to any Bluetooth camera?
Do not infer that from Bluetooth alone. Select the exact camera and route. The planner distinguishes a supported pairing from a receiver-based audio connection.
Does a 32-bit float microphone make my video audio 32-bit float?
No. Internal transmitter files and the audio embedded in the camera video are separate recordings. Check the output format and confirm a backup file was actually created.
Does two-microphone support guarantee separate tracks?
No. Source count, left/right channels and separate audio tracks are different. Configure the receiver and inspect an exported clip with one microphone speaking at a time.
Which models are covered?
The current matrix focuses on documented routes for DJI Osmo Action 3–6, GoPro HERO10–13 Black and Insta360 X4, X4 Air and X5, using selected DJI and RØDE systems. Not every combination in those families is documented here.
